Therika Mayoral is a visual artist focused on performance, video art, video performance and installation. Since 2001 her work is based on the body as permanent code of interpretation.
She is interested in exploring the visual autobiography as well as the analysis of art theories with an epistemological emphasis on symbols and archetypes interpretation which redefine new allegorical performances. This has resulted in performances planned as installations, enhancing the creative process and production, involving objects and symbols with a broad conceptualization that evolves into a transcendent aesthetic vision in each performance.
